Bishop William German III is the father of three sons and a daughter-in-law, Melissa. He first accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 11, as a member of Long Point Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. JJ Maxwell. Through his teen years, he continued to worship and serve as a Sunday school teacher for beginners, juniors, young adult and adult classes while being groomed by Pastor JJ Maxwell.
Later, he became the assistant superintendent of the Sunday school. At the age of 16, he preached his initial sermon and was then licensed by Rev. JJ Maxwell. In 1979, he joined the United States Army and served until 1983. The Lord later placed him under the leadership of Pastor Paul Shepherd at First SeeWee Baptist where he served as the assistant pastor for 8 years. The Lord later spoke to German telling him to start a ministry under the name “True Vine Tabernacle.”
In 2009, Bishop German began True Vine Tabernacle at 1975 Central Park Road. Pray much for Pastor German and the ministry as he continues to grow and trust the vision God has given him.

Kenny will do his best to always continually work for the Lord and follow His leading. Kenny is married to Minister Barbara German and they have four children and six grandchildren.
Barbara is a woman of God who places Him above all others. She accepted God's calling in 2014 under the leadership of the late Apostle Ethel Ellis of Judah Outreach Ministries as an associate minister. She now serves faithfully with her husband, Pastor Kenny German, under the leadership of Pastor William German III. Minister Barbara is a prayer warrior who prays with such power, sincerity, and acceptance of God's will. She is the mother of four adult men, and the grandmother to five. She serves in a family ministry and is blessed to see two of her adult men grow spiritually as they faithfully serve the Lord.
